Script Planning
Intro - (Front door) I'm so lucky I get to go to school at MJDS. I love walking through the Star door and everyone knows my name. We even get to walk on the red carpet sometimes!
Slide 2 - (Office) The ladies in the office know everything! I know they care about me, especially when I get to play with their toys.
Slide 3 -(Beit Midrash) Being Jewish isn't just another part of school, it's part of everything. I get to look inside the actual Torah, I get to choose what tunes we sing in Tefillah, and we even get to plan fun parties for the Jewish holidays. Dancing on Yom Ha'atzmaut is always a lot of fun.
Slide 4 - (classroom) Sometimes, I get to decide what I want to learn. We get to ask the questions, and the teachers help us find the answers. Gev. Rosengarten, if God is everywhere, why can't we see him?
Slide 5 - We have so many choices for extra fun learning in school- there's quilting, African drumming, cooking, woodworking, calligraphy...it's so hard to choose one, but I sure love drumming!!!
Slide 6- It doesn't matter how old we are here, we are all friends.
Slide 7- (folk fair pictures)- I love that we get to help the world outside of MJDS too! We got to skype with a community in Kenya and guess what, he came to visit!
Slide 8- Israel- We are so lucky! We learn about Israel our whole time here, and then we actually get to go in 8th grade!!
Slide 9- Technology- Wow! We have an innovation wing with a Maker space, an Engineering lab, and lots of cool furniture. I hope to build cool things for our classes.
Slide 10- Reaching out- We learn about our world by helping others.We do many projects, like Mitzvah day, Ronald McDonald's house, Katy's Closet, Hope House and so many more.
