It's  must, must for every project I do.  <br \/>\n<br \/>\nConsider a digital way to journal.  Consider a Wikispace as a final reflection piece to reflect on the process as a whole. <br \/>\n<br \/>\nI need support using various digital environments.  It will take me 5 times as long to figure this out than necessary (or I have time for). The buildings were taken to UWM and tested on their shake table.  Students documented their progress in a daily journal.  Journal entries included sketches, lists of materials, ideas, thoughts, questions, problems, solutions to problems, next steps.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThis project enabled me to focus on many of the content area standards, however, probably not all of them.  I need to look at the NGSS.  <br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe project took about 4 weeks to complete.  This seemed to be an adequate amount of time. <br \/>\n<br \/>\nAssessment was composed of three parts:  science journal, building itself, final report.  Each component had its own rubric.  Most students &quot;scored&quot; well.  Those that did not, typically, did not because of missing parts of each component.
